    Joshua, Kaelyn and I loved Kay and will miss her warm smile, sweet spirit, and funny stories about the boys and life growing up in the Becker household. She was the perfect mother-in-law: always there for John and I; but respectful as well. She was an amazing cook who thankfully shared some of her basic recipes early in our marriage. Kay and John were there for Johnny and I throughout his battle with brain cancer. In short, he was the wonderful man he was because of the wonderful parents he had. I am thankful for their influence on our lives. We will miss Kay but take comfort in knowing she is in heaven with our Johnny. Lovingly, Kim, Joshua, and Kaelyn Becker

    I was privileged to get to know Kay through Bible Studies at Faith Church. She was an incredible woman of God, willing to share her deep insights. Kay always had a positive outlook on life and was an encouragement to those around her. She will be missed. My condolences & prayers to her family…

    Kay was a wonderful example of Christian love. In all the ups and downs of her life she remained steadfast and uncomplaining in the love of her Lord, Jesus Christ. We trustfully put our daughter Robin, Larry’s wife, in her care when they were married. As parents of Robin we were so many miles far away, but Kay was her mother in our stead and took loving care of her for us. She is a model for all mothers and all Christians.

    My husband, Don, and I have great memories of living next door to John and Kay and their five sons on Osborne Drive in Indianapolis in the 1960’s. They were wonderful friends. May the entire family be comforted at this time. Love, Arlene & Don, Boulder, CO

    Dear Friends,
    I am not sure you will remember me after forty-three years. I lived with Don and Arlene Hill two summers, that of 1968 and also 1969 in Indianapolis. The Hills were next door neighbors of the Becker Family. What a good family to live by. I remember what a good wife and mother Kay was. She had five little boys and she and they were usually smiling and happy. After having raised a big family of my own (I have eleven living children) I know what a large amount of work is needed to care for a family. Kay is remembered so lovingly by me. I treasure that time. May you be blessed with the spirit of the Comforter today and always. Sincerely, Sally Wimmer Henry

    Ken and Family;

    My deepest sympathies for your loss. Ken, I have been thinking about you and Angela since I saw the notice in the paper. I hope that you and yours take comfort in knowing that your mother had a productive and loving life; I know this from our conversations. I am glad to know that you were able to be there to provide comfort.

    Dear John,
    I just heard about Kay’s passing and I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I have fond memories of singing with her in the choir and all of the beautiful decorating she used to do at Castleview. I am thankful for having known her and for all the support and encouragement she offered me as a mother of a son.

    Sincerely,
    Suzanne Russell
